Remembering the Veterans of World War II

From National Mall and Memorial Parks:

Today we pause to remember the 2,403 killed on Oahu 75 years ago, and the 16 million men who would go to war in the next four years in their memory.

Thirty World War II veterans have joined us for the commemoration, including seven who were at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. We are honored by their presence and indebted for their service.
