NORTHERN INDIAN OCEAN - System 99W the Only Tropical Low

From NASA's Hurricane Web Page:

NORTHERN INDIAN OCEAN - System 99W the Only Tropical Low
Around the world today the tropics are pretty quiet. In fact, the only tropical low pressure area that is suspect for development is System 99W in the Northern Indian Ocean.
It's located near 6.4 north latitude and 95.0 degrees east longitude, just 57 nautical miles north-northwest of Sumatra.
NASA's Aqua satellite passed over 99W and infrared data from the AIRS instrument showed some thunderstorms within were strong and high in the troposphere. They had cloud top temperatures near -63F/-53C (purple).
It has a medium chance for tropical cyclone formation in the next 24 hours
