December 7, 1941, a date which will live in infamy.
Seventy-five years later, we honor the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for our freedom on that fateful day. Over the next four years, hundreds of thousands of Americans courageously fought in defense of our nation. It was this generation, the Greatest Generation, who prevented the forces of evil from extinguishing our liberty. For their service we owe a debt of gratitude that we can never repay.
