Gary Johnson's Second Aleppo Moment

A few minutes ago I caught a clip which CNBC called (Libertarian Party Presidential candidate) Gary Johnson's Second Aleppo moment.

The first Aleppo moment took place when a reporter asked Johnson a question about Aleppo (Syria). Johnson acted like he didn't know where Aleppo was. Aleppo has been in the news a lot lately, so it didn't look good that this Presidential candidate did not know where Aleppo was.

The clip shown this morning showed Chris Matthews asking Johnson to name one world leader anywhere in the world that he respected. Johnson stammered. Vice-presidential candidate Bill Weld was sitting next to him and tried to help him. Finally, the two of them were able to spit out a name. I don't remember which one.

2016 is a year in which both major party candidates have high disapproval ratings. This would be a good year for a third party to get some traction. It is curious that the Libertarian Party would put up a candidate who seems so inept, certainly with respect to foreign policy.
