Corker: White House Rejected Meeting Request Ahead of JASTA Veto Override - News - - United States Senator Bob Corker

WASHINGTON – In remarks on the Senate floor today, U.S. Senator Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, criticized the Obama administration’s lack of engagement ahead of Congress’ vote yesterday to override the president’s veto of the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA) and expressed hope that all parties involved will be willing to engage in discussions in the weeks and months ahead.
