Republicans plot counterattack to Iran nuclear deal filibuster | TheHill

Republicans intend to hammer Senate Democrats next month if they do not allow an up-or-down vote on a measure disapproving President Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran.
Democrats appear close to having enough support for the deal to bottle up the disapproval measure with procedural motions. If Republicans vote in a united bloc, they would need the support of six Democrats to break a filibuster, but only two Democrats have broken ranks so far.

Many people have expressed fervent support for Hillary Clinton to be the next President of the United States. When asked why, many of her supporters say, "Because she's a woman."

I recently saw a video of random people being asked questions about politics. Of course, Hillary was among the topics discussed.

One young woman from South America said, "We have a woman President and she's terrible!"

The young lady did not identify which country she was from, but it had to be either Argentina or Brazil.

If you are bound and determined to vote for Hillary in 2016, perhaps you should find a better reason.

Huckabee: The staggering stupidity of Iranian self-inspections | Fox News

One of the few truthful statements Mr. Obama has made is that he wanted to fundamentally change America. He is doing that.

Fresh off a golf vacation at Martha’s Vineyard, President Obama is back to doling out disparaging dialogue about critics of his Iran nuclear deal.  Even now, after learning that the deal includes trusting Iran to self-inspect, the president calls opponents “crazies.”  What’s crazy, is putting trust in the hands of Iranian leaders.
They say when the cat’s away, the mice will play. But when America abdicates its leadership role in the world, the rats run riot. President Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran is a rat ship.

Topeka Man Sentenced for Downloading Child Pornography

FBI Kansas City Division #News Release:

Topeka Man Sentenced for Downloading Child Pornography

U.S. Attorney’s OfficeAugust 24, 2015
  • District of Kansas(316) 269-6481
TOPEKA, KS—A Topeka man was sentenced Monday to 84 months in federal prison for downloading child pornography from the Internet, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom.
Mark A. Hastert, 55, Topeka, Kan., pleaded guilty to one count of receiving child pornography.
“Consumers of child pornography help create a market and demand for the production of images of sexual abuse and exploitation of real children,” Grissom said. “They contribute to the cycle of abuse and are in part responsible for the harm suffered by children.”
In his plea, Hastert, admitted that the investigation began in September 2011 when a task force with the FBI cyber crime unit in Kansas City, Mo., downloaded child pornography from Hastert’s computer using a file sharing program. Investigators followed an electronic trail to Hastert’s home in Topeka. A forensic examination located 875 images and 58 videos of child pornography on Hastert’s computer.
Grissom commended the FBI and Assistant U.S. Attorney Christine Kenney for their work on the case.

Jeb Bush: Planned Parenthood isn't involved in women's health | PolitiFact

The Left has become very adept at manipulating language to make an issue something other than what it really is. It helps that the mainstream media (and some of the new digital media) have aided and abetted them.

For example, when illegal immigration was becoming a hot issue a few years ago, the Left quickly began their manipulation of terminology. At first, instead of calling illegal immigrants what they were, the Left called them undocumented workers. But people saw through that and now the Left simply speaks of immigration, as if conservatives oppose all immigration. The truth is that most conservatives do not have a problem with foreigners going through the proper channels and coming here legally. But you would never know that by listening to the Left.

Similarly, the Left has manipulated language in the abortion debate to make it seem like the debate is about something else (women's health). When the Left has their protest rallies, the word abortion seldom appears. Rather, the term women's health or women's healthcare is used. Women's healthcare has become code for abortion.

It now appears that presidential candidate #JebBush knows about the Left's tendency to manipulate language, but he doesn't (until now) know much about #PlannedParenthood. While Planned Parenthood does perform a lot of abortions, they do some other things, too. And some of those things would properly be called healthcare.

I would think that someone of Mr. Bush's stature would either know that or he would have staff that know that. Now, he either looks like a liar or an ignoramus.

Hillary Clinton Compares GOP Candidates to Terrorists for Their Views About Women | TheBlaze.com

Another *You're on the wrong side of history* argument that the Left loves to make! It is meant to convey a sense of the moral superiority for the Left. It certainly has no basis in fact!

Hillary Clinton on Thursday likened the Republican presidential field to terrorist extremists based on their views of women.
“Extreme views about women, we expect that from some of the terrorist groups,” Clinton said during a campaign speech at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. ”We expect that from people who don’t want to live in the modern world. But it’s a little hard to take coming from Republicans who want to be president of the United States. Yet, they espouse out of touch and out-of-date policies. They are dead-wrong for 21st century America. We are going forward. We are not going back.”

10-Eye-Opening Quotes From Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger | LifeNews.com

This is a little over two years old, but still relevant:

Margaret Sanger has been lauded by some as a woman of valor, but a closer look reveals that Planned Parenthood’s audacious founder had some unsavory things to say about matters of race, birth control, and abortion. An outspoken eugenicist herself, Sanger consistently promoted racist ideals with a contemptuous attitude.

Read on to learn why Planned Parenthood hides behind a false memory of Sanger, and why, despite her extraordinarily prolific writing career, one rarely sees her quoted by Planned Parenthood leaders and apologists.

Margaret Sanger's National Portrait Gallery Bust Should Go -- But Not because She Was Racist

About two dozen anti-abortion leaders and pastors, most of them black, gathered in front of the National Portrait Gallery Thursday morning to protest its display of a bust of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger.

Chanting “you must remove the bust,” E.W. Jackson and other black activists argued that various writings and statements by Sanger prove she was a racist white supremacist who doesn’t deserve to be honored alongside civil rights leaders such as Martin Luther King, Jr. and Rosa Parks.

As LifeNews reported, some of the expose’ videos have featured Holly O’Donnell, a licensed phlebotomist who unsuspectingly took a job as a “procurement technician” at the fetal tissue company and biotech start-up StemExpress in late 2012. That’s the company that acts as a middleman and purchases the body parts of aborted babies from Planned Parenthood to sell to research universities and other places. StemExpress was partnered with Planned Parenthood up until last week, when it quietly announced it ended its relationship with the abortion corporation.

Senator McConnell on NLRB’s Latest Assault on Small Businesses

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell made the following comment today regarding the National Labor Relations Board’s (NLRB) Browning Ferris decision:
“This NLRB decision is a gift to the Left and big labor bosses—at the expense of small business owners and their employees. This ruling could take away independence from small businessmen and women – like decisions on hiring and pay, or even on how to run their business – and put it in the hands of corporate bosses. These extreme, politically-motivated proposals hurt our constituents to help the administration’s friends, rather than helping economic growth and employment.”

Our Problem Isn’t Guns or Mental Illness, It’s Godlessness | TheBlaze.com

It’s called evil.
We never want to talk about evil in this country, do we? We rarely even say the word. We’re so shallow and distracted in our thinking. Everything has to be political or psychological, easily solved through policies or laws or pharmaceuticals. But all the drugs and legislation in the world won’t change the fact that humans are sinful and angry, and sometimes they do evil things on purpose, and not for any reason other than their own sick lust for vengeance, power, and pleasure.

Biden donors lying in wait | TheHill

Major fundraisers for Joe Biden’s past campaigns have not committed to Hillary Clinton, leaving the vice president’s allies convinced he can win the financial support necessary to challenge her.
Biden would face a financial giant in the Clinton campaign, which has won over many of President Obama’s fundraisers and already had a vast financial network.
